Kona Café has been an annual participant in the Cuisine of Hearts Valentine’s Day Brunch at the Hilton Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii, a gourmet event to benefit the local culinary academy. Here we are offering our 100% pure Kona coffee to accompany the fine food.

At the Hawaii Coffee Association's cupping contest in Kona, in July 2010, our Kona Cafe Kona coffee ranked in the elite group with a rating of 85.05. Coffees from all over Hawaii were tasted.

In the 2006 Gevalia Kona Coffee Cupping Competition, held at the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, Kona Café was included in the winners' circle, placing us among the top 3 Kona coffees. Kona Café has been a finalist in that competition twice before.

Kona Cafe was a finalist in the 2004 & 1997 Gavalia Kona Coffee Cupping Competition placing Kona Cafe in the top 2 1/2 per cent of Kona coffee farms. We also finished in first place in the 2003 Kona Spring Blossom Festival People's Choice Award for our Dark Roast.
